ROPE STAGES

Successful overcoming of the rope stages requires the following rope skills from all competitors:
1. Rappelling and climbing on a vertical fixed rope. Changing the way of traveling on route. Vertical drop of ascent or descent – max. 20 m.
2. Overcoming of a horizontal or slightly inclined air portage of up to 170 m length.
3. Overcoming of horizontal or inclined rails.

The judges will control rope techniques during all fixed rope stages. All competitors must pass the stages on their own, but at the same time, they have to strictly follow all requirements given by the judges. A team is allowed to start moving on the rope only after all team members are completely prepared and have put on all necessary gear for passing the stage.

Judges have the right to penalize or disqualify a team from passing the stage in the following cases: any of the competitors of the team is injured, does not obey the judges' requirements, does not follow the safety rules or is in an obvious inadequate state of mind or body.
