ROUTE ON AN ABANDONED MILITARY AERODROME
Participants will reach this stage by bicycle. The first thing they see when they arrive is a long, overgrown, yet still decent runway which will make you want to veer onto it and passionately yell “ready for take-off!”
Here is an excellent satellite photo for you. Some of the checkpoints are indicated on the map. However, they are difficult to find. Not everything is visible from space, you see. You can find the rest of the CPs on the photo by precisely following the dashed line on the map, and constantly keeping an eye out; that’s the only way you’ll spot them.
