Anniversary Red Fox Adventure Race XV powered by Polartec® began!

Today, on June 11, opening of the largest expedition race in Russia Red Fox Adventure Race XV powered by Polartec® was organized in one of the most beautiful places in the Republic of Karelia (Russia). For the 5th time the race is scheduled within the AREuroseries calendar.
The race is organized by the Red Fox company with support of the Polartec LLC - sponsor and long-term partner of the event. This year record number of athletes took part in the competition - 500 adventure seekers from Russia, Belarus, Estonia and Ukraine.
27 four-persons teams and 108 two-persons teams took part in the Long course (50 hours), and 9 four-persons teams and 67 two-persons teams took part in the Short course (25 hours). They have to pass a long, impressive and difficult distance without rest.
One of the greatest news is that Red Fox Adventure Race gained status of the preparatory stage of the European Adventure Races Championship 2017!
After the opening ceremony the race began. Amazing kayaking stage on the Ladoga Lake became the first challenge for participants. It's just the beginning!
